I am a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Villanova University, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication (media production specialization) and political science. I am currently completing a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship to the Czech Republic at the Zlín Film School.
I have produced, edited, and directed social justice documentaries and university news videos alike. I hold a deep passion for telling stories that impact the larger world and highlight diverse communities, and I have contributed to award-winning films, with my work being viewed around the world.
Oak Tree Films︱Producer
My work in the social justice documentary program at Villanova University was influential and inspiring. Producing “Her Time is Now” and “NINA” in Kenya were key to the film’s ultimate success. Through initiating, coordinating, supervising, and controlling all aspects of production, from fundraising and hiring key personnel, to arranging for distributors for both films, I got the job done. This has surely been a highlight of my media production career.
PBS︱Post Production Intern
In the summer and fall of 2022, I worked at PBS as a post production intern for the Emmy award-winning documentary series FRONTLINE. I collaborated with the incredible post-production team to suggest edits for FRONTLINE films before going live. On a typical day, I could be found assisting the Post-Production Coordinator and FRONTLINE Outpost staff with tasks such as tracking assets, archiving production media, footage research, creating press clips, and other special projects in Avid. By the end of my 6 months here, I produced a final promotional internship project previewing the FRONTLINE film “Fire in Paradise.”
Villanova Television︱VP, News Director, & Technical Director
Throughout my time at Villanova University, I have held numerous roles in Villanova Television. I have worked my way up from technical director to Vice President. As technical director, I developed training programs for video editing software and production equipment to mentor new members, as well as creating and regularly updating a new website for Villanova Television. As news director, I oversaw the news department to help create unique content covering campus news stories and events. Finally, as current Vice President, I work alongside the President to set goals for the club and support every Villanova Television department. In this role, I also oversee the Production Services division to ensure production requests are completed and that client relationships are managed.
Isa Media Inc.︱Production Intern
In summer 2023, I worked with both IsaGoodPodcast and Hands-Off Production to give clients the strategy and support to sustain a high-converting show. I collaborated with the team on creative strategy, ideation, and innovation for internal projects and company clients. I edited numerous podcasts, including “TRANSCEND,” “A Little Mental,” “Stories of Scaling,” “On Q Performance Therapy,” and more using Adobe Audition. I also created short-form video clips in Premiere Pro from client video and audio, designed graphics and social media content from podcasts, wrote show notes, and created promotional content.
CCATE (Center for Culture, Art, Work, & Education)︱Film Producer, Instructor
My sophomore year at Villanova, I created a documentary about the culture and community of the LatinX population in Norristown, Pennsylvania. I collaborated with expert filmmakers from the University of Pennsylvania to help teach high school students how to use filmmaking equipment, while also ensuring that the documentary was produced. I planned and conducted interviews, filmed using professional equipment, and helped students direct the documentary.
House of Talent PA︱Freelance Video Editor
In early 2023, I worked as an editor for Season 2 of "The Ri Show," which airs on The CW Philly & My Network TV Miami. I often went on set for sit-down interviews with the host, and also traveled throughout the Philadelphia area filming B-roll and interviews with high-profile celebrities and influencers, such as Project Runway contestants at Philly Fashion Week.
In high school, I wrote the script for the live daily morning news show, “Before the Bells,” including introductions to videos, news announcements, and sports updates to ensure the general flow of the show was successful. I incorporated last-minute changes minutes before the show went live to update the script concisely and effectively. I also produced daily content by planning, filming, and editing new videos within an eighty-minute period. As a whole, I operated the teleprompter, ensured news anchors were able to read the script, and was responsible for the overall success of “Before the Bells.”
Alkemy X︱Post Production Intern
NOVAdance︱Video Productions Team
Throughout my time at Villanova, I worked with NOVAdance, a year-long fundraising effort culminating in a twelve hour dance marathon in support of the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation. The organization aided the lives of those affected by childhood cancer, raising over $500,000 a year. In my role, I captured all NOVAdance moments, including the dance marathon and special events. I helped conceptualize, record, and edit videos for the NOVAdance YouTube page that center around the Hero-focus of NOVAdance. Throughout the year, I made hype videos, educational videos, recruitment videos, special event videos, and longer Dance Marathon videos.
In fall 2023, I worked for Alkemy X, a global creative partner for the biggest names in film and television, working specifically in Content, Production, Editorial, and VFX for Oscar and Emmy award-winning content. After working closely with them on the social justice documentaries that I produced (above) in color correction, I was given the opportunity to work with them in an internship. In this role, I attended meetings and conference calls with other staff and clients to assess needs and develop creative treatments for projects, consulted with Editors/Graphics/Audio/Color Correction to determine time and resources needed for specific projects, learned about how project management, available resources, and budget all come together in the timeline of a project, and explored the role of Alkemy X in collaboration with agencies and direct to client partners.
Lambda Pi Eta (Communication Honor Society)︱President
As President of Villanova’s chapter of the National Communication Honor Society, I successfully executed our society’s vision, achieving long-term goals. I organized and executed high-profile events, such as alumni networking events, which included guest speaker sessions and workshops, attracting a large audience of communication students. During my time, I oversaw a significant increase in new members, and overall, recognized academic excellence within the communication field for all Villanova COM students.
The Villanovan Student Newspaper︱Opinion Columnist
Specially chosen to be the sole opinion columnist for the fall 2022 semester, I wrote weekly articles on Villanova campus initiatives, current political events, campus interests, and technology. I conducted interviews with Villanova students and faculty to gauge public opinion on significant campus life issues in order to produce engaging content for the newspaper in a timely manner, often working under strict deadlines. I worked with the editors to edit and revise articles based on feedback to ensure high-quality journalism. I wrote an article called “Mouse in the House: Quad Living Conditions” that is the #1 most viewed article of all time.
Marshfield Student Broadcasting︱Content Writer, Teleprompter, & Video Producer
Fulbright Czech Republic︱English Teaching Assistant
I am currently completing a 10 month adventure in the Czech Republic at the Zlín Film School, where I teach the best and most talented students every week. This has been the most unique and fun experience of my career, and I am grateful to Villanova University for laying the foundation to receive and embark on this prestigious program. Not only have I been able to teach, but I have presented my films at Tomas Bata University in Zlín to aspiring filmmakers, flown a small airplane, ran a half marathon in the Slovakian mountains, traveled to numerous new countries, and networked with European film professionals. Stained Glass Films︱Producer
My second year in the social justice documentary program at Villanova University was been an extremely moving experience. Producing “Art of Resistance,” “Mestre Guga,” and “Peaking Through the Sand” in Brazil was a challenging yet rewarding process. Through overseeing all production aspects for the three documentaries and multimedia content, I made sure we premiered on time and produced the best quality work. This has surely been a highlight of my media production career.
